The second most important job in Australia

The nation of Australia has never really taken to Michael Clarke. When, for the fifth Ashes Test in January 2011, he followed a line of Test Captains which has included The Don, the gruff and domineering Alan Border, the better Chappell and Steve Waugh, it was assumed his PR drive would swing away from metrosexuality towards a more respectable portrayal of the embodiment of Aussie masculinity.

Though the runs have flowed the suspicions remained. He has been treading on thin ice. It’s therefore a very brave move to be boldly captured like THIS on your wedding day.

Shane Watson must have been beaming with admiration.
